Explore Buddhist monasteries including Hemis Monastery, Karma Dupgyud, Rangdum Gompa etc.. | | Day01 – Arrival Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport & be received by our representative. Depending upon the time of arrival transfer to city & Check IN hotel. Morning at leisure & later go for a guided city tour of Delhi. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day02 - Delhi-Leh: Early morning about 2:30 am we leave the hotel to the domestic airport to board the flight to Leh, which leaves around 5 am. The flight takes about 1 hrs and 15 minutes and becomes extremely interesting once you enter the Himalayas. It becomes almost a “sightseeing by flight” once over the Himalayan and Zanskar ranges of mountain, massifs, glaciers and peaks at an eye level emerging from the cloud bed. Finally you land at one of the highest airport in the world at 11500 fts. On arrival met by representative and transfer to hotel. Day COMPLETE REST to acclimatize to the high altitude to avoid mountain sickness. Evening we drive to Leh palace and back. Overnight at the hotel in Leh town.
Day 03: Leh: Early morning drive to Thiksey monastery to meet with the morning prayer ceremony performed by an assembly of monks just before the sunrise. We shall have breakfast at the monastery restaurant and proceed to visit the Stok Palace. After the visit to the palace and the museum we further proceed to the less visited village of Matho. We visit to a house and stay in the village until evening. After a deeper experience of Ladakhi village lifestyle and interaction we proceed to our hotel in Leh, on the way we stop by the Shey Palace. Overnight hotel in Leh.
Day 04: Leh: Today we proceed with packed lunch from our hotel to the same route as yesterday. Off the route we drive to Hemis monastery and walk to the ancient meditation center hidden deep into the mountains. Whole day we stay in the area. Briefing and history of Tibetan meditation, Yogis of Ladakh. Drive to Mahabodhi International Meditation center MIMC for the overnight
Day 05: MIMC: Full day at the meditation center. Overnight at the center.
Day 06: MIMC: Full day at the meditation center. Overnight at the center
Day 07: MIMC: Full day at the meditation center. Overnight at the center.
Day 08 : Leh - Alchi: Morning visit an Oracle in Leh or Sabu. Oracles in Ladakh can be monk or a layman or women who is supposed to have healing power and tells the past an future once they go into trance. After lunch drive to Alchi. We visit the 1000 year old Alchi monastery which is the only monastery in Ladakh that is not on a hilltop. Overnight at the Resort or hotel in Alchi.
Day 09 : Alchi: Toady we visit the Rizong monastery and the Chulichan nunnery in the morning and further drive to Lamayuru and drive back to Leh. O/N at hotel in Leh.
Day 10 : Leh - Delhi: On time departure transfer to Leh airport to fly Leh-Delhi. All flights leve early in the morning around 0700hrs. Arrival in Delhi around 0900hrs. Transfer & Check in hotel. Day at leisure to go shopping for curios etc. Evening transfer to IGI Airport for departure.

The cost includes :
- Accommodation hotel at Leh, Alchi and Maha Bodhi Centre on Single occupancy.
- All Meals & Transportation as per itinerary.
- Guide and assistance during sightseeing and during stay at MIMC.
- All monastery / monument fee, including charges at MIMC.
The above cost does not include:
• Any Airfare.
• Insurance of any kind.
• Any type of drinks including mineral water and alcoholic beverages during camping or in hotel
• or at the time of road journey.
• Tipping to porters, camp staff, drivers, bell boys and restaurant staff etc.
• Excess baggage charges, laundry charges, camera fee and any other item of personal nature.
• Medical expenses, cost of hospitalization or evacuation by helicopter or any other means of
• conveyance.
• Additional cost resulting from delays or expenses incurred during overstays caused by bad weather, landslides, sickness or any other contingencies beyond the control of Master Tours & Travels or its affiliates / representatives.
